Child Sex Trafficking Regional Navigator Program

The Child Sex Trafficking Screening and Services Act of 2019 - PDF - 198.6 KB established the Child Sex Trafficking Regional Navigator Program.

The program coordinates services for children who have been identified as, or are believed to be, victims of child sex trafficking. Regional navigators work with community partners to help children access the services and support they need.

Under the law, law enforcement agencies and local departments of social services must notify the regional navigator serving their area when they have reason to believe that a child is a victim of sex trafficking. The regional navigator then helps coordinate appropriate services for the child.
