Notice to Grant Applicants
Grant Application Information and Public Records
The Governor's Office of Crime Prevention and Policy collects information through grant applications as part of its responsibilities under Executive Order 01.01.2005.36.
Please be aware of the following:
- You must provide all required information. An incomplete application may be denied funding.
- Grant applications submitted to the Office may be considered public records under Maryland law.
- The Office does not sell information collected through grant applications.
- Under the Maryland Public Information Act (PIA), you may submit a written request to review eligible grant award records, subject to applicable disclosure requirements and exemptions.

Grant Conditions
The following conditions apply to all grants awarded by the Governor's Office of Crime Prevention and Policy, regardless of the funding source, unless otherwise specified.
Financial Requirements
In addition to the Governor's Office of Crime Prevention and Policy's General and Special Conditions, subrecipients must comply with the financial and administrative requirements in the current Office of Justice Programs (OJP) Financial Guide, when applicable.
Subrecipients must also comply with any additional terms and conditions established by the Governor's Office of Crime Prevention and Policy.
