Description

The primary purpose of the Markell Hendricks Youth Crime Prevention and Diversion Parole Grant program is to provide grant assistance to local law enforcement agencies for diversion programs or youth engagement programs in high-crime areas. 

History

In accordance with Chapter 738, HB1348 (2019) - PDF, a new grant fund to be administered by the Governor’s Office of Crime Prevention and Policy was created to provide grant assistance to local law enforcement agencies for diversion programs or youth engagement programs in high-crime areas.
