Since 1996, the Maryland State Board of Victim Services has consisted of 22 members who represent crime victims, victim service providers, and a wide range of criminal justice agencies and organizations.
Of the 22 members:
- 8 members serve in positions established by law.
- 14 members are appointed by the Governor.
